News 2007

	Our first litter Picture of the dam is on the left she is called Ezhar Earthsummit of Rayempet. On the right is a picture of the sire he is called Lyncris Johnny B Good. See the puppy page for more information Litha has now come into season follow the link above to find out more information.
	Went to the Bolton town Open Show on 20th August 2006 and Rhade won a first in Junior and he was also awarded best in breed (BOB) and best puppy in breed (BPIB) and in the Hound Group he was also award Group 3 in the puppy group. He was seven months old.
	We went to the Humberside Hound Association Open Show on the 21st October 2006 and Rhade was awarded first in junior and as he was still a puppy he was also awarded BPIB as well as BOB. With this he was also given the Ezhar cup. When we went in for the group he was picked out for the cut (final eight) and then in the BPIS Rhade was awarded reserve best puppy in show. He was ten months old.

Went to the Scottish Kennel Club Championship show on the 20th May 2007 and under Judge Mrs Jill Peak Rhade (Lyncris Sun King of Rayempet (AI) ) was awarded his first Challenge Certificate (CC) at sixteen months old. On the left is a picture of Rhade showing off his certificate and the rosette that we bought for him to celebrate his win well done.

Rhade picked up his second CC at the Hound association Show August 4th 2007,held at the County Show Ground Stafford, Judged by Jill Morris.

Darlington Championship show,September 14 . At this single CC show Rhade came away with RBD. The Judge was Mrs A Macdonald.

Haven't we done well, Litha this is what it is like to win

Here are Rhade & Litha Winners at the Darlington Championship show in Brace September 14/07.

Humberside Hound Association Open show held on 17th November Rhade and Litha came second in the brace class they worked very well together.

	On a very cold day namely Saturday 17th November the Pharaoh Hounds were judged outside at the Humberside Hound Association open show. Rhade won his class (Special Yearling) and Litha handled by David won her class (open). Both Litha and Rhade returned to the ring to be judged for B.O.B. Mrs Jill Chapman awarded the B.O.B to Rhade. Below is a cold Rhade showing off the rosette awarded for B.O.B. Rhade also was awarded the Ezhar cup for winning B.O.B
On Saturday 10th November at the Border Counties Hound Club open show held in Lancaster Rhade won his class (Limit) and Litha won her class (open). Rhade, Litha and Lottie returned to the ring for the judge to pick Best of Breed. This was awarded to Rhade by judge Toni L Agnew. Rhade pictured above sporting his B.O.B rosette.		On 18th November at the Urmston Filxton & Davyhulme Canine Society Rhade won his class (open) and as there was Pharaoh Hounds entered into one class he was awarded B.O.B. We returned to the ring for the best in show for all unbeaten dogs. Also judged by Serena Parker, she made two cuts to reduce the dogs from 20 to 10. Rhade was picked to go through and then she cut the numbers to 4 and Rhade was into the last 4. Above Rhade showing off the rosette awarded to him for B.O.B.

News 2008

On Sunday 13th January Rhade went to the Clitheroe and District Kennel Association show. As there were no classes for Pharaoh Hounds he was entered into Any Variety Not Separately Classified Hound Group. He won his class and then he was also awarded BOB of the AVNSC Group. As the show was Judged on the group system we returned to the ring for the Hound Group and he was placed as Group 1. The judge for the AVNSC Hound and the Hound group was Toni L Agnew.

On Feb 2 Rhade went to the Deane and District Canine Society open show he was awarded BOB by Judge Mrs Pam Mottershaw.
Rhade has been awarded the Twinley Dressaig Trophy for Top Dog 2007 by the Pharaoh Hound Club U.K. Follow this link to see all the other winners of the trophys for 2007.

On Sunday 9 March was our day for Crufts where Mrs Debbie Diamond was judging. In the Dog Post Graduate Class the sire of our first litter (Ifrit) was placed first. In the Dog Limit Class Rhade was placed first and here are some photos of Rhade with his rosette.
The Dog CC was awarded to Plupp, Rhade's sire with Rhade was awarded RCC. Rhade dad went on to win best of breed. Picture below of Plupp and Rhade receiving their CC and RCC.

We went to Humberside Hound Association in April Rhade was awarded BOB and retained the Ezhar Trophy.
On the 3 May we were at the Border Counties Hound Club Open show Litha won her class limit and Rhade won his class open. In the challenge for BOB Litha was handled by Brian Middleton, may thanks Brian and I handled Rhade. Rhade was presented with BOB and in the BIS challenge Rhade was selected for the last seven before the judge decided who had won BIS.

We are Champions

Lyncris I'll Follow The Sun (Eco) won her 3rd CC with BOB and also the Hound group at The National Championship Show on 11 May under Judge Mrs Marston-Pollock. Eco was made up to a Champion at this show. 5 days later Lyncris Sun King of Rayempet (Rhade) won his 3 CC with BOB at the SKC Championship Show under Judge Mr Ellis Hulme. This win made Rhade a Champion as well, as Eco his litter sister.
So a big congratulations to Glyn, Christine and Eco (Lyncris Pharaohs)
